Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 22, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how KinToTable LLC ("KinToTable," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information when you use the KinToTable mobile application, the KinToTable website, and related services (collectively, the "Services").

KinToTable is a private meal-sharing and recipe app designed for families and close groups of friends. Users can create or join a private group called a "Table," share meals and recipes, upload photos, rate and comment on meals, react to posts, build personal and shared cookbooks, create meal plans, receive reminders, and import recipes by providing a recipe URL.

1. Information we collect

Information you provide to us

Account information. When you create an account, we collect your email address, display name or username, and authentication information needed to secure your account. Authentication is provided using Supabase. We do not ask for your government-issued identification, Social Security number, or financial account credentials.

Content you add. We collect the content you choose to create, upload, or share through KinToTable, including meals, recipes, ingredients, cooking notes, ratings, comments, reactions, weekly plans, photos, and other content you submit. When you import a recipe, we may process and store the source URL and recipe information needed to provide the import feature.

Support communications. If you contact us through our support page or by email, we collect the information you provide, such as your name or display name, email address, and the contents of your message, so that we can respond.

Subscription and purchase information. KinToTable does not currently offer paid subscriptions or in-app purchases. If we introduce them, they would be processed through the Apple App Store and/or Google Play. KinToTable would not receive or store your full payment card number, card security code, or bank account number. We may receive limited transaction information from Apple or Google, such as a transaction or purchase identifier, product purchased, subscription status, renewal status, and entitlement information, so that we can provide and manage your subscription.

Camera and photo library. KinToTable may request access to your camera or photo library when you choose to take, select, or upload a photo. We access photos only when you choose to use those features.

Push notifications. KinToTable does not currently send push notifications. If we add them, we may process a device or app push token and notification preferences so we can send reminders, account notices, and Table activity notifications, and you will be able to turn notifications off in your device settings.

Information collected automatically

Usage and diagnostic data. Our hosting and backend providers generate server logs in the ordinary course of operating the Services, which may include IP address, request timestamps, and error or performance information. We use this information to operate, troubleshoot, and secure KinToTable.

Device and technical data. We may collect technical information such as IP address, device type, hardware model, operating system and version, app version, browser type, language, app-instance identifiers, and similar technical information.

Approximate location. KinToTable does not request access to your device's precise GPS location. Internet infrastructure and our service providers may derive an approximate location, such as country, region, or city, from your IP address for security and operational purposes.

Cookies and similar technologies. Our website does not currently set cookies or use tags, pixels, or similar tracking technologies. If we add cookies for essential website functions or measurement, we will update this Privacy Policy. We do not use these technologies to display targeted advertising in KinToTable.

Analytics. KinToTable does not currently use a third-party analytics service such as Google Analytics. If we add analytics to understand how the Services are used and to improve the user experience, that service may collect usage, device, browser, and approximate geolocation information, and we will update this Privacy Policy. We would not use analytics advertising features for targeted advertising or remarketing.

Sensitive information

KinToTable does not ask users to provide sensitive personal information such as Social Security numbers, government identification numbers, precise geolocation, biometric identifiers, financial account credentials, health information, racial or ethnic origin, religious beliefs, or sexual orientation. Because users can enter free-form notes and upload photos, please do not include sensitive personal information in user-generated content unless you are comfortable sharing that content with the members of your Table who can view it.

2. How we use information

We may use personal information to:

We do not use personal information to make automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects.

3. When and with whom we disclose information

Service providers

We disclose personal information only as reasonably necessary to companies that perform services for us. These providers may process information on our behalf subject to their applicable terms, agreements, and privacy obligations.

Our service providers include:

If we add an analytics provider or a push notification service in the future, we will update this Privacy Policy to identify it.

Other Table members

KinToTable is designed around private groups. When you post or share content in a Table, that content may be visible to other members of that Table. Depending on the feature, Table members may see your display name, profile information you choose to provide, meals, recipes, photos, ratings, comments, reactions, and other content you share with that Table.

KinToTable does not make Table content publicly visible to all KinToTable users through the Services. People outside your Table do not receive access to your Table content merely because they use KinToTable. Please remember that other Table members can independently save, copy, screenshot, or further share information they can see.

Business transfers

If KinToTable LLC is involved in a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, bankruptcy, sale of assets, or similar transaction, personal information may be disclosed or transferred as part of that transaction, subject to applicable law.

Legal and safety disclosures

We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law or legal process; respond to lawful requests; investigate fraud, security incidents, or abuse; enforce our agreements; or protect the rights, property, or safety of KinToTable, our users, or others.

No sale or targeted advertising

We do not sell personal information for money. We do not display third-party advertisements in KinToTable, and we do not use personal information for targeted advertising or cross-context behavioral advertising.

4. Cookies, analytics, and similar technologies

Our website does not currently set cookies or use similar tracking technologies, and the mobile app does not include an analytics software development kit. If we add cookies or analytics to operate the site, remember preferences, maintain security, measure traffic, or understand how visitors use the Services, we will update this Privacy Policy.

The app does include a crash-reporting tool, Sentry, which sends us a diagnostic report when something in the app fails. A report contains the error, the device model and operating system version, the app version, and a short trail of the actions leading up to the failure. It is configured not to send IP addresses or account identifiers, and it is not used to track you or to measure how you use the app.

If we do add analytics, we would use it for measurement rather than targeted advertising, and we would not intentionally send email addresses, names, or other directly identifying account information to an analytics provider as analytics parameters.

You may be able to limit certain analytics or cookie activity through browser settings, device settings, or consent controls we make available.

5. How long we keep information

We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including while your account remains active, unless a longer period is required or permitted by law.

Account and Table content is generally retained while your account is active. When an account is deleted, we delete or de-identify personal information and user content from active systems as reasonably necessary, subject to limited exceptions for legal compliance, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, security, enforcement, and legitimate recordkeeping.

Some residual copies may remain temporarily in backups, logs, or disaster-recovery systems until those systems are overwritten or expire in the ordinary course. Information retained for those purposes will not be used for unrelated purposes.

Subscription and transaction records may be retained when necessary for accounting, tax, fraud prevention, entitlement verification, or legal compliance.

6. How we protect information

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information.

KinToTable uses Supabase for backend infrastructure, authentication, database hosting, and file storage. We use access controls, including row-level security where applicable, designed to limit access to Table data to authorized users. Our service providers also use security measures for data they process on our behalf.

No method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your privacy choices and rights

Account information

You may update certain account information through the app. You may also contact us at support@kintotable.com for assistance.

Push notifications

If we add push notifications, you will be able to disable them through your device settings.

Marketing communications

If we send marketing emails, you can unsubscribe using the unsubscribe link in the message or by contacting us. You may still receive service-related communications that are necessary to operate your account.

Privacy requests

Depending on where you live, applicable privacy law may give you rights to:

KinToTable does not currently sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising.

To exercise a privacy right, visit kintotable.com/support or email support@kintotable.com. We may need to verify your request before completing it. We will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right.

Authorized agents may submit requests where applicable law permits. We may ask for information reasonably necessary to verify the agent's authority and the user's identity.

8. Account and data deletion

You can initiate deletion of your KinToTable account from inside the app by going to You → Delete my account.

You may also request account or personal-data deletion by visiting kintotable.com/support or emailing support@kintotable.com from the email address associated with your account.

Account deletion removes or de-identifies your account information and associated personal data from active KinToTable systems, subject to the limited retention exceptions described in this Privacy Policy. Deleting your account does not necessarily delete copies of content that another Table member independently saved, copied, screenshotted, or shared outside KinToTable.

9. Children's privacy

KinToTable is a general-audience service and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without any legally required parental consent.

If we learn that we collected personal information from a child under 13 in circumstances where parental consent was required, we will take reasonable steps to delete the information. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information to KinToTable, contact us at support@kintotable.com.

10. U.S. state privacy disclosures

Residents of certain U.S. states may have additional rights under applicable comprehensive state privacy laws. These rights apply only when the relevant law applies to KinToTable and to the particular processing activity.

Categories of personal information

During the preceding 12 months, KinToTable may have collected the following categories, depending on the features used:

Sources of information

We collect personal information directly from users, automatically from use of the Services, and from devices and browsers. We do not purchase personal information from data brokers.

Disclosure for business purposes

We may disclose the categories described above to service providers for hosting, authentication, storage, platform services, security, and support. We do not sell personal information for money and do not use it for targeted advertising.

California direct-marketing disclosure

We do not disclose personal information to third parties for their own direct-marketing purposes in exchange for money. California residents may contact us regarding rights that apply under California law.

Universal opt-out signals

Because KinToTable does not currently sell personal information or use personal information for targeted advertising, there is not currently a sale or targeted-advertising opt-out for us to apply. If our practices change or applicable law requires a response to a legally recognized universal opt-out signal, we will honor such signals as required by law and update this Privacy Policy.

11. International users

KinToTable LLC is based in the United States, and our service providers may process information in the United States and other countries where they operate.

If privacy laws such as the GDPR or UK GDPR apply to our processing, our legal bases may include performing a contract with you, our legitimate interests in operating and improving KinToTable, compliance with legal obligations, and your consent where consent is required.

Where applicable, you may have rights to access, correct, erase, restrict, object to processing, withdraw consent, or receive a portable copy of personal information, and you may have a right to complain to your local data-protection authority.

12. Third-party websites and recipe imports

KinToTable allows users to import recipes by providing links to third-party websites. Those websites are operated independently of KinToTable and have their own privacy practices and terms.

When you choose to open a third-party link, your interaction with that website is governed by that website's privacy policy. KinToTable is not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party websites.

13. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in KinToTable, our service providers, legal requirements, or our privacy practices.

We will update the "Last updated" date when we make changes. If a change is material, we may also provide notice through the app, website, email, or another appropriate method.
