Legal

Terms of Use

Last updated: August 10, 2026

These Terms of Use ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and KinToTable LLC ("KinToTable," "we," "us," or "our") governing your access to and use of the KinToTable mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the "Services").

By creating an account, purchasing a subscription, or otherwise using the Services, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

1. Eligibility and your account

You must be at least 13 years old to create or use a KinToTable account. If the law where you live requires a higher minimum age for you to consent to online services, you must meet that requirement or use the Services only with any legally required permission from a parent or legal guardian.

You must provide accurate account information and keep it reasonably up to date. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and other login credentials and for activity that occurs through your account.

Do not share your password with others. If you believe your account has been accessed without authorization, contact us at support@kintotable.com.

You may not create an account for another person without permission, impersonate another person or organization, or create accounts for fraudulent, abusive, or unlawful purposes.

2. License to use KinToTable

Subject to these Terms, KinToTable grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to download, access, and use the Services for your personal, non-commercial use.

This license does not transfer ownership of KinToTable or any of our software, designs, trademarks, branding, code, or other intellectual property to you.

Except as permitted by law or with our written permission, you may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, reverse engineer, decompile, attempt to extract source code from, or create derivative works of the Services.

3. Subscriptions, free trials, billing, and cancellation

KinToTable may offer a free trial followed by a paid, automatically renewing subscription. The exact trial period, subscription price, billing period, taxes, features included, and renewal terms will be displayed to you before you confirm a purchase.

If you begin a free trial and do not cancel before the deadline shown by the applicable app store, your subscription may automatically convert to a paid subscription and renew until canceled.

Purchases made through the Apple App Store are billed and managed by Apple. Purchases made through Google Play are billed and managed by Google. Their payment, subscription, cancellation, and refund terms also apply to those purchases.

You can manage or cancel a subscription through the app-store account used to purchase it and through any subscription-management link we make available in the Services. Cancellation generally prevents future renewals; it does not necessarily provide a refund for a current billing period.

Unless required by applicable law or otherwise provided by the applicable app store, refunds are governed by the policies of the store that processed the purchase. If you have a billing or entitlement problem, you may also contact us at support@kintotable.com.

We may change subscription prices or features in the future. Any price change will be handled with the notice, consent, and other procedures required by the applicable app store and applicable law.

Deleting your KinToTable account does not necessarily cancel an active App Store or Google Play subscription. You should separately cancel your subscription through the store that billed you.

4. Tables, invites, and private sharing

KinToTable allows users to create or join private groups called "Tables." Tables are intended for families, close friends, and other people who choose to share meals and recipes with one another.

Content posted to a Table may be visible to the members of that Table. Table content is not intended to be publicly visible to every KinToTable user.

Invite codes or invite links can allow another person to join a Table. Treat them as private. If you share an invite code or link with someone, or if someone you shared it with passes it along, a person you did not originally intend to invite may be able to join the Table.

You are responsible for deciding whom you invite and what you choose to share. Table members may be able to copy, screenshot, download, remember, or independently share content they can see. KinToTable cannot control what another user does with information after that user has legitimately received access to it.

We may provide tools for Table owners, administrators, or members to manage membership, remove users, report content, or block users. The availability and effect of those tools may change as the Services develop.

5. Your content

"User Content" means content you submit, create, save, upload, import, or share through the Services, including meals, recipes, ingredients, cooking notes, ratings, comments, reactions, meal plans, profile information, photos, and similar material.

You retain ownership of the User Content you own. KinToTable does not take ownership of your User Content merely because you upload or store it in the Services.

You give KinToTable a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, process, transmit, display, and otherwise use your User Content only as reasonably necessary to:

This license lasts for as long as your User Content remains in the Services and for any limited period afterward in which copies remain in backups, logs, or systems as described in our Privacy Policy. We do not obtain a right under this license to sell your recipes or photos, place them in advertising, or publicly publish your private Table content for unrelated marketing purposes.

You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed to submit your User Content and to grant the license above.

6. Recipe imports and third-party content

KinToTable may allow you to import recipe information by submitting a URL from a third-party website.

Third-party recipes, photographs, articles, trademarks, website content, and other materials remain the property of their respective owners. KinToTable does not claim ownership of third-party content and does not grant you rights that we do not have.

The import feature is provided as a tool for users to process content from a URL they choose to submit. You are responsible for ensuring that your use, storage, sharing, republication, or distribution of imported material complies with applicable law and any rights or restrictions that apply to that material.

Do not use KinToTable to systematically copy entire websites, evade paywalls or access controls, defeat technical restrictions, scrape content at abusive scale, or republish third-party material in a way that violates another person's intellectual property or other legal rights.

Where available, KinToTable may preserve or display a link to the original source. A source link does not mean that the third party sponsors, endorses, or is affiliated with KinToTable.

We do not guarantee that an imported recipe will be complete, accurate, properly formatted, or available indefinitely. Third-party websites can change or remove content at any time.

7. Acceptable use and community standards

You may not use KinToTable to create, upload, transmit, promote, request, or distribute content or conduct that:

These examples are not exhaustive. We may act against other conduct that creates a material risk to users, the Services, or KinToTable.

8. Reporting, moderation, and safety

If you encounter content or conduct that violates these Terms, you may report it through any reporting feature available in the Services or contact support@kintotable.com.

We may review reports and take actions we reasonably consider appropriate, including removing content, restricting features, removing a user from a Table, suspending or terminating accounts, preserving relevant records, or reporting conduct to law enforcement where legally required or reasonably necessary to address an imminent safety concern.

We are not obligated to monitor every piece of User Content before it is posted, and the presence of User Content does not mean KinToTable endorses it.

If blocking tools are available, users may use them to limit interactions with another user. Table membership and shared-group relationships may affect exactly what a blocked user can still access, and we may update these controls over time.

9. KinToTable intellectual property

The Services, including the KinToTable name, logos, software, interface, design, graphics, text we create, databases, features, and other materials provided by us, are owned by or licensed to KinToTable LLC and are protected by intellectual-property laws.

Except for the limited license granted in these Terms, no rights in KinToTable's intellectual property are granted to you.

You may not use KinToTable's trademarks, logos, or branding in a way that suggests sponsorship, endorsement, or affiliation without our written permission.

10. Feedback

If you voluntarily send us suggestions, ideas, feature requests, or other feedback about KinToTable, you allow us to use that feedback without restriction or compensation to you. This does not give us ownership of your User Content.

11. Copyright and other rights complaints

We respect intellectual-property rights.

If you believe content available through KinToTable infringes your copyright or another legal right, contact support@kintotable.com and provide enough information for us to identify the content and understand your claim, including the location of the material, the right you believe is being infringed, and a way to contact you.

We may remove or restrict access to content when we reasonably believe it violates these Terms or applicable law.

Nothing in this section represents that KinToTable has designated or registered a Digital Millennium Copyright Act agent unless and until we expressly state that we have done so.

12. Third-party services and links

The Services may interact with or contain links to third-party services, websites, app stores, analytics providers, hosting providers, or other services that KinToTable does not control.

Your use of third-party services may be subject to separate terms and privacy policies. KinToTable is not responsible for third-party websites, their availability, or their content, except to the extent applicable law provides otherwise.

You must comply with applicable third-party terms when using the Services.

13. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect personal information. By using the Services, you acknowledge that your information will be handled as described in that policy and as required by applicable law.

14. Food, allergy, and recipe disclaimer

KinToTable is a meal-sharing and recipe-organizing service. It is not a medical, nutrition, allergy-management, food-safety, or professional dietary service.

Recipes and other content may be created by users, imported from third-party websites, or processed automatically. Ingredients, measurements, instructions, nutritional information, allergen information, cooking times, temperatures, substitutions, and other recipe details may be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable for a particular person.

You are responsible for reviewing recipes, checking ingredients and allergens, following appropriate food-safety practices, and deciding whether a meal is safe and appropriate for you or anyone you serve.

If you have allergies, dietary restrictions, medical conditions, or other health concerns, do not rely solely on KinToTable to determine whether food is safe or appropriate for you.

15. Service availability and changes

We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue features of the Services from time to time.

We work to keep KinToTable available and reliable, but we do not guarantee that the Services will always be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or available on every device or platform.

Features may depend on internet access, third-party infrastructure, operating systems, app stores, or services outside our control.

You should keep independent copies of content that would be especially difficult or important for you to replace.

16. Account deletion, suspension, and termination

You may initiate deletion of your KinToTable account from the account area of the app, including through the You tab and the account-deletion option made available there. You may also contact support@kintotable.com or use our support page for assistance.

Account deletion is handled as described in our Privacy Policy. Deletion may not remove copies that another user independently made outside KinToTable, and limited information may be retained where required or permitted for legal, security, fraud-prevention, dispute-resolution, backup, or similar purposes.

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate an account if we reasonably believe the user has violated these Terms, created a security or legal risk, abused other users, engaged in fraud, or misused the Services.

Where reasonably appropriate, we may provide notice or an opportunity to address the issue. We may act without advance notice when necessary to protect users, prevent harm, comply with law, or protect the security and integrity of the Services.

Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including provisions concerning ownership, licenses already needed for retained backups or legal compliance, disclaimers, limitations of liability, disputes, and miscellaneous terms — will survive.

17. Disclaimers

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE."

KINTOTABLE LLC DISCLAIMS WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ANY OTHER WARRANTIES THAT MAY LAWFULLY BE DISCLAIMED.

WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, COMPLETELY SECURE, OR FREE FROM DATA LOSS, OR THAT USER-GENERATED OR THIRD-PARTY CONTENT WILL BE ACCURATE, COMPLETE, SAFE, OR RELIABLE.

SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN WARRANTY DISCLAIMERS. IN THOSE JURISDICTIONS, THESE DISCLAIMERS APPLY ONLY TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

18. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, KINTOTABLE LLC AND ITS OWNERS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, GOODWILL, DATA, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICES OR THESE TERMS.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICES OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO KINTOTABLE FOR THE SERVICES DURING THE 12 MONTHS IMMEDIATELY BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM OR (B) US $100.

THESE LIMITATIONS DO NOT APPLY TO LIABILITY THAT CANNOT LAWFULLY BE EXCLUDED OR LIMITED, INCLUDING ANY NON-WAIVABLE CONSUMER RIGHTS.

19. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless KinToTable LLC and its owners, officers, employees, contractors, and agents from third-party claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and reasonable costs arising from:

This section does not require you to indemnify KinToTable for our own unlawful conduct, gross negligence, or other liability that cannot legally be shifted to you.

20. Governing law and disputes

KinToTable LLC is organized under the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, United States.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, these Terms and disputes arising from them or the Services are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, disputes that are not required to be heard elsewhere will be brought in an appropriate state or federal court located in Virginia, and you and KinToTable consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.

Nothing in these Terms eliminates a consumer-protection right, mandatory venue right, or other legal protection that cannot lawfully be waived under the law applicable to you.

21. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as KinToTable changes or as legal, regulatory, security, or operational requirements develop.

We will update the "Last updated" date when we make changes. If a change materially affects your rights or obligations, we may provide additional notice through the app, website, email, or another appropriate method.

Your continued use of the Services after revised Terms become effective means you accept the revised Terms to the extent permitted by law. If you do not agree with a material change, you may stop using the Services and delete your account.

22. Miscellaneous

Entire agreement. These Terms, our Privacy Policy, and any additional terms presented for a specific feature constitute the agreement between you and KinToTable regarding the Services, subject to applicable app-store terms.

Severability. If a provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, it will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted by law and the remaining provisions will remain in effect.

No waiver. If we do not enforce a provision immediately, that does not waive our right to enforce it later.

Assignment. You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our written permission. We may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, corporate reorganization, sale of assets, or by operation of law, subject to applicable law.

No partnership. These Terms do not create an employment, partnership, joint venture, agency, or franchise relationship between you and KinToTable.

23. Apple App Store users

If you download KinToTable through the Apple App Store, Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies to the license for the iOS application unless KinToTable provides a custom EULA through Apple.

These Terms are between you and KinToTable LLC, not Apple. KinToTable, not Apple, is responsible for the Services and their content, subject to the Standard EULA and applicable law.

Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for KinToTable. Questions, complaints, and support requests about KinToTable should be directed to us.

To the extent required by Apple's applicable terms, Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of the provisions applicable to the iOS application and may enforce those provisions against you.

You must comply with applicable Apple Media Services and other third-party terms when using the iOS application.

24. Google Play users

If you download KinToTable through Google Play, your use of Google Play and purchases made through Google Play are also subject to Google's applicable terms.

Subscriptions purchased through Google Play can be managed or canceled using the subscription-management options provided by Google and any link we provide from the Services.

These Terms are between you and KinToTable LLC; Google is not responsible for providing KinToTable customer support.
